Subject | Adjective | Possessive |
---|---|---|
I | my | mine |
You | your | yours |
He | his | his |
She | her | hers |
It | its | its* |
We | our | ours |
You | your | yours |
They | their | theirs |
*its es muy poco común
❌ Can you believe I bought a car? It’s my car!
✅ Can you believe I bought a car? It’s mine!
❌ This is my pen. Your pen is over there.
✅ This is my pen. Yours is over there.
❌ His dog is white. Her dog is brown.
✅ His dog is white. Hers is brown.
✅ Jane is one of Mary’s cousins.
✅ Jane is a cousin of Mary’s.
❌ Jane is a cousin of Mary.
✅ Jane is a cousin of hers.
❌ Jane is a cousin of her.
✅ She is one of my co-workers.
✅ She is a co-worker of mine.
