Past habits
7/27We use the words “used to” to talk about past habits, things we did in the past that we don’t do in the present. The structure to follow is:
subject + used to + base form of the verb
For example:
They used to take the bus to work, but now they work from home.
I used to play basketball when I was a kid, but I had an accident and I had to stop.
