I think the greatest example of how my life changed because of technology is the Freestyle Libre sensor. I have had diabetes since I was 13 and taking care of myself at that time involved picking my fingers almost 15 times a day to check my glycemia status.
Freestyle libre was for sure a game changer because it only requires maintenance (changing the sensor) twice a month, and I can verify my glucose levels through my smartphone whenever I need to.
