Past continuous es el tiempo verbal que indica una acción o condición que estaba ocurriendo en el pasado, pero que no ocurre en el presente. Past continuous se utiliza en las siguientes situaciones en el pasado:
La estructura está constituida por el verbo to be en pasado y la acción conjugada en present participle (-ing).
